BOOKING CONDITIONS

LETTING PERIOD
The properties are generally let for 7 day periods from 4.00 p.m. Saturday to Saturday, when they MUST be vacated by 10.a.m. Alternatives may be available at short notice or seasonal offers may apply.
The properties sleep a maximum of 4 persons and are let for holiday purposes only.
THE PROPERTIES ARE NON-SMOKING.
Pets are not permitted.
Children welcome by arrangement.

WHAT IS INCLUDED:
All linen, towels, electricity and heating. Use of the private jetty.

BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICY.
A non-returnable deposit of £100.00 is payable with your booking and this confirms a contract in terms of which you are liable to pay the balance 6 weeks prior to arrival. This deposit will be acknowledged in writing with an account for the balance due, stating the date by which this balance shall be paid. Cancellation within 6 months of arrival date deposit only due. Between 3 and 6 months 50% liability. Less than 3 months and the full amount due.
FOR YOUR PROTECTION AND PEACE OF MIND WE STRONGLY ADVISE THAT YOU TAKE OUT HOLIDAY INSURANCE WHICH MAY COVER YOU IF YOU HAVE TO CANCEL.
The booking is accepted on the clear understanding that should the accommodation become unlettable through circumstances beyond the control of the proprietors you shall be entitled to a refund not exceeding the amount paid.
For bookings of 2 weeks or more, the housekeeper will come at 10.00 a.m. each Saturday morning to change the sheets and towels.

The proprietors reserve the right to refuse admission to their properties and require any persons to leave when they consider there is a breach of contract, or deem there is damage to the properties or cause of nuisance or conduct of an offensive manner.
The proprietors also reserve the right to enter their premises at any reasonable hour.

THE PROPERTY SHOULD BE LEFT IN A CLEAN AND TIDY CONDITION.

Mountains not only allow one to enjoy the walking, climbing and hiking but provide the habitat for wildlife.
Skye teems with wildlife and otters are a special feature of Skye's wildlife.
Accommodation at Fiordhem provides lodgings from which it is possible to observe the mountains. The lodgings are comfortable. Accommodation is spacious. Wildlife abounds and otters swim past the gate. Otters breed on Skye. Otters are seen frequently at Fiordhem. Otters are probably the top wildlife attraction on Skye.
When walking and hiking in the Highlands and islands look out for the wildlife.
Walking climbing and hiking in the mountains make for exciting adventures.
