COMPANY PROFILE
|
Seaprobe
marine specialise in a range of multi-chine, single
and twin screw, sea-going passenger vessels with underwater
viewing windows.
Designed by naval architects to Lloyds specifications for the construction of yachts and motor vessels, the Seaprobe vessels comply with UK / European ( DNV/MCA) and US passenger boat construction regulations and can comply with other
countries regulations where specified.
Our in-house design facility, utilising CAD technology, enables us to easily incorporate non--standard features, as specified by individual customer requirements, into the design of our boats.

Built in the UK by McTay Marine's skilled and dedicated
work force.
Seaprobe vessels have good slow speed manoeuvring abilities and are very economic to operate. The steering position on all vessels offers good all-round visibility.
All Seaprobe vessels have seating and toilet facilities
to match their maximum passenger carrying capacity.
Access to the underwater viewing gallery is by way of
two return stairways. Each underwater window is made
of immensely strong Lloyds certified Acrylic panels, offering
amazing panoramic views on the marine environment. The
excellent stability characteristics of the vessel ensures
that passengers feel little if any motion, and the generous
headroom provides an airy feeling of room and space.

The collision bulkheads and hull subdivisions allow
flooding of the underwater viewing gallery without risk
to the vessel. All boats are supplied with a full complement
of safety equipment on delivery *. Additional equipment
can be supplied and fitted at the customer's request.
The revolutionary Seaprobe range of passenger vessels
represent the future in marine tourism, marrying all
the functions of a conventional passenger boat with
a unique, built-in underwater viewing gallery. They
can even come equipped with a dive platform on the stern,
making them ideally suited for dive charter, too.
The specialised nature of these vessels, allied to their versatility, provides a highly profitable cutting edge business opportunity in this era of advanced marine and eco-tourism. This combined with the strength of build and quality of materials used during construction, mean that the Seaprobe vessels are built to survive many years of continuous operation in a tough environment.
* excludes life-rafts and some medical items for first aid kit.
