The Boatyard is 25 minutes by road from Liverpool International
Airport and 50 minutes from Manchester Airport.
Direct flights
are available to most European centres as well as domestic
flights to London, Glasgow, Newcastle and other airports.
The rail
network is within walking distance from the yard and connections
are available throughout the UK. Green Lane station, on the
Liverpool underground is the nearest station.
Ferry services
to Dublin and Belfast operate from the Mersey.
The Motorways
M62 and M53 are both easily accessed from Birkenhead.
MAIN WORKSHOP
Accessed through main
door 7.56m High x 18.24m Wide we occupy a 30,000
sq ft unit accessed within a 44500 sq m facility. We have access
to other areas in the yard as required.
The Main Workshop has 3 x 15 tonne overhead cranes.
Welding and fabrication facilities include:
3m Rollers
400 tonne x 3 m Breakpress
3m Guillotine up to 14mm thickness.
Stick and MIG welding facilities.
Drilling machines etc.
