The bedrooms are on the ground floor and the rooms with private facilities
have a fine view across the bay to the hills and Duncraig Castle. The room with en suite facilities looks toward the village and a quaint feature seen from the bedroom window is the old water pump where the villagers in bygone days had to go for water.
Outside the gable window of two of the rooms is the last remaining thatched cottage in the village. The `Black House` as it is known is thatched with heather rather than rushes.
( The families lived in one side of the house and the cattle lived in the other!)
