Fairtrade Commitment

Broadford is a Fairtrade Village. An evening event in the lovely Harbour Restaurant and Cafe attracted a midweek crowd from throughout Skye and further afield to have a look at the display of 'store brand' Fairtrade products from Marks & Spencer to the Co-op, to hear Towera speak about the positive impact fair trade has had on Malawians and to give awards to recognise the fair trade commitment of local businesses, activists and schools. We look forward to future visits to see the steady and solid growth of fair trade in Skye!
